Redundancy pay increase from 1 October 2009

The Government will increase the weekly limit for calculating statutory redundancy pay from £350 to £380 on 1 October 2009.  This limit will not rise in February 2010 but will remain frozen at £380 until February 2011.  A planned increase was first announced in the 2009 Budget back in April this year.
